Spiritual author and teacher Emmet Fox declared that "Life is consciousness."
If this is true, then what constitutes your level of happiness is what comprises your individual consciousness and how that aligns with the authentic you.
Your individual matrix provides the structure for you beliefs and attitudes applies the filters to your experience that effect what your conscious awareness allows you to focus upon and include within your experience of life.
Welcome back, fellow voyager, to our continued journey of alignment with the divine within by mastering the art of the Occupy Yourself matrix.
Let's begin todays segment of insight by defining some terms that you may of may not be familiar with. I also wish to provide you and me with a framework for this insight-seeking journey.
Merriam-Webster defines consciousness in 3 primary ways:
a : the quality or state of being aware especially of something within oneself
As you are able to see, from the above definition, consciousness effects your experience of life in 3 powerful ways:
- Awareness of your internal states.
- Awareness of those things external to you.
- Awareness defining your consciousness of social and political perspective.
Once you understand that the makeup of your personal matrix is related to your level of conscious awareness; you are in charge. You are open to modify your matrix in the 2 ways you are empowered to; your thoughts and your emotions.
Your Domain of Emotion Mastery
"By monitoring your emotions, which is easy, you will get an insight into your thoughts. By checking yourself when you are feeling bad, and changing your energy back into a positive mode, you will stop creating negative things and events. Meanwhile, you will begin to experience more and more positive events in your life. This will quickly snowball until you are manifesting your desires and living without all of the stress." ~Dick Ingersoll ( author, Master Your Life Using the Law of Attraction)
- The relationship you are developing with your emotions is either trending toxic or loving. Learning to work in a 'win-win' manner with your emotions will benefit you in many and varied ways.
- am I using the emotions I experience as a barometer to my thoughts?
- am I employing the strategy of substitution when my fear-based emotions reveal themselves? (replacing a fear-based thought with an empowering one)
- which thoughts and feelings do I focus upon most; fear-based or loving-accepting?
"The quality of your communication depends upon the choices you make in each moment, whether you tune your emotional body into love or to fear."
